It is always cold in the morning in winter. But if the sun is out, by afternoon it is fairly warm. But in Adelaide, winter is the wet season. You will see many cloudy days in the winter. They are colder than a sunny winter day but not any worse than in Shenzhen. But in the few days of heavy rain in the winter, things gets really cold and wet. Close your windows on cloudy and raining days, but open your windows on sunny warm days to let teh warm air in to keep your house warm. Try to say dry.
Summer here is hot. But in Shenzhen, 30 something degree is really hot. In Adelaide, as long as you stay out of the sun, you will be OK in a 30 something degree day. At night, the temperature drops and you get a cool night around 15-20 degree before the sun is out heating things up again. If there are several hot days in a row in a heat wave, the heat can accumulate and temperature can soar up to the high 30s and even go over 40 degree. By that time, you'll need air conditioning and don't go outside. It is usually cooler to keep windows closed in the summer in Adelaide, unlike in Shenzhen. The only time you open your windows in summer is when the summer rain is developing and the air is very stuffy, during the summer rain when things starts to cool and shortly after the summer rain before the air heats up again.
I think it is the dryness here you have to watch out for. Humidity is very low in Adelaide and you need cream and lipsticks to keep your skins and lips from drying up. Especially if you experience skin dryness in Shenzhen. If your skin is dry in Shenzhen, it will only get worse in Adelaide. That's my advice for a girl. If you are a bloke (I don't think you are from your user name), just toughen up and bear with the cracked skin and lips. They will heal and your body will adjust to it.
Edit: Oh wait, now I see it. You are a guy. Man, you are just as bad as Crystal224. Using a girl's name as your user name when you are a bloke.
