My bad. I didn't think the GTX 780Ti has such a low power requirement.

But what I mean by low maintenance is that if something breaks, the part is cheap and available for an easy fix. The workstation is just not that. Also, after 3 years, LZ can put a new CPU (maybe a Steamroller FX) into the socket to give the machine some new life or if AMD updates to another socket, there is still the FX-8350 to upgrade to, not to mention getting a good cooler and OC the hell out of the thing.

Not a good idea. There will be no more support for Windows XP from Microsoft next year. Also, Windows XP doesn't have TRIM for SSD, it doesn't have DX 10, 11, it is not 64bit unless you have the Pro x64 edition.

不过，我老感觉内存条8g有些小似的。会不会过一两年就又得换啊。还有在论坛里卖的那些二手的，有没有性价比比较好的呢？

What do you use your rig for apart from games, internet, watching video and word processing?

主要是用来上网，打打单机游戏，看看电影，其他的用处不是很多。

Then 8GB will be fine. If you do media production, then you will need more.
