      As a professional sushi boss, it is easy to tell which potential employees fits this position, unless the boss just wants the "free labourers".
      If you think he or she is not good enough, tell them directly and immediately.
      If you need more time to convince yourself, you can ask your potential employess or students to stay longer, may be one h or two hrs. If you would like to employ them, you do not have to pay them, and just ask them starting the work today or tomorrow.  If you think he or she still cannot meet your criteria after two hrs training, I suggest, at least you have to Pay them "something", like $10 dollars for trafic expenses and several bars of sushi and a thank-you-sorry greetings.

      回11楼,你说的很对,我们当时就是这么做的,当事人试工完成后我们已决定录用他,而且负责培训的员工也和我们说他的能力不错,但之后他嫌路远自己放弃了

      我们从来都没有想得到什么Free labour ,因为如果是没有经验的人来,不但不能帮助我们,反而需要我们花更多的心思去培训,有时之所以需要长一些时间试工,的确想看一看应聘者是否真的适合此工作,比如英语能力和学习能力

      If 95 pct of the customer base is from "old foreigns", no owner will care too much about another 5 pct who smears the boss and shop.  
      Same way, If you make 100 bars of sushi everyday, will you worry or care too much about 5 bars of sushi left unsold when you close the shop door?
      Easy to understand this line of thinking, right?

      jian11你的建议我们基本也是这么做的,如果试工不成我们一般都还会留应聘者吃个午饭,如果我们觉得可以一般从当日第三个小时开始给工资

      Jian11你的话我同意,但在Bbs上恶意污蔑我无法接受,当日我不在店里,如果我在,或许很快就能决定是否录用应聘者,而不会拖到4个小时,这是我们的疏忽,但事后在BbS上恶意吐槽,当事人是不是处理事情的方法也有些过了?如果事后能和我及时沟通,或许能很好的解决问题。

      If so, in this particular case, it's not your fault.
      But the whole story doesn't spell like that.  If you want him and he rejects you due to some reasons, it is not your fault.  But it seems that both you and the complainants are talking past, not in the same talking groove and trajectory.

      In chinese, we have a proverb running like this:
      You don't take off your cap under a plum tree and you don't tie your shoes in watermelon fields., thus,  in order to avoid any unnecessary suspicions and troubles.

      That's why.

      甭管如何,有事说事。恶意吐槽,抹黑,骂店里员工心理有问题是怪咖,这个试工同学的素质的确不咋地,也就是在网上能这么嚣张了。在一个没有约束、监管的网络环境里,自身没有约束的话,就乱套了。
