Food service company Account Manager / Sales Rep
Join a fast-growing food service company with a large portfolio of products in the frozen/dry food category, representing well known national brands such as Golden Voyage, Sanquan, Synear, Quanfude, Bifengtang, Shiyuefang, Wufuyuan, Huanglaowu etc.

Semi-Autonomous Role
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities via cold calling on end users in market segments such as supermarket chains, cafés, restaurants, clubs, pubs, take-away's etc.
Generate sales plan and execute to a detailed level. Generate sale report weekly, follow up with previous approached customer. Convey company promotion products to customer. Have ability to sale FMCG.
Provide a professional response and action customer enquiries via phone and email
Respond in a friendly, professional and customer focused manner, ensuring first call resolution.
Assisting and educating customers on the use of our Online ordering platform
Quoting, providing customers with sales/technical information, and communicating opportunities to field sales.
Handle customer complaints and forward to appropriate departments for resolutions as required
Communicate with accounting department regarding customer accounts
Maintaining a customer records management system with updated details of key personnel, customer activity and relevant product sales opportunities.
Utilize existing relationships and your superior relationship skills to create opportunities to present samples and convey the features / benefits of our product range
Executing sales / promotional strategies as directed by the Sales Manager
Key Competencies / Skills
A passion for food with the ability to convey that to others
Previous experience in food service industry essential.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
A outgoing and resilient personality with a self-motivated, autonomous approach to work
Excellent planning and organization skills
Experience in sales/account management is desirable
Proficiency in MS Office
Understanding of sales process, preferably with customer service experience
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
Good sales intuition to take advantage of cross and upsell opportunities
You need to be a good team player
You need to have good time management skills
You need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills
May suit an ex Chef looking to get out of the kitchen and into a sales based role.
