The positions

Architectural & Interior designer:

·     Part time x 1 (approx. 20hrs per week)

·     Internship x 1 (3 months)

PART TIME POSITION

The responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and talented Interior Designer or Architectural Designer tojoin our creative design team. You will need to be able to demonstrate your extensive experience in the design, presentation and documentation of projects.  You must be able to work autonomously but alsobe able to collaborate with your peers and be open to creative direction and feedback.  

You will have experience in a similar role in projects in the retail and residentialsectors and be well versed with contemporary design trends. It is expected that you will have a proven track record of delivering projects from concept to completion.

Part time3 days (approx.20hrs) a weekfor the skilled candidate.

The requirements

·     Strong design passion andfocus

·     Master of Architecture or equivalent

·     2 to 3 years of architectura lor commercial interior design experience

·     3D modelling using sketch up

·     REVIT OR Vector Works skillsessential

·     Solid communication and presentation skills

·     Experience with Adobe CreativeSuite

·     Attention to detail

·     All round project experience(design, presentation, design development, documentation, coordination)

·     Fluent Mandarin and Englishspeaking a must

INTERNSHIP

The responsibilities

A strong Design Intern candidate for this position will be a team player that is able todemonstrate self-motivation, organizational skills, and be a fast learner. We are looking for a passionate, hard-working designer to help in the design process, 3D rendering development, selecting and ordering finishes, assistingin organizing and preparing for meetings, incorporating designs into BIM, andhelp produce presentation materials.

Internship period 3 months (Approx. April 2019 to June 2019)

Excellent candidate will have the opportunity for further employment within SOKO Design Studio.

The requirements

·     New graduate or 3rd/4th Yr studen

·     Experience using Sketch Up isrequired, Vector Works, and/or BIM modeling software a plus

·     Experience with Adobe CreativeSuite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

·     3-D computer rendering skills(Sketch Up, V-ray, and/or other modeling software like Lumion a plus)

·     Proficiency with MS Office(Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

·     Hand sketching ability a plus

·     Please include work samplesin your application in order to be considered for this position

·     Mandarin and English speaking
